About Us

Alex Moshonas-Hill was taught to cook by her Greek father from an early age and despite having no formal training, she bought and ran her own restaurant, No. 10 Restaurant in Tamboerskloof, which was voted one of the Top 10 restaurants in Cape Town for two years running. Later, Alex started catering for the film industry, which she loves so much, she has been doing this for the past 20 odd years! Recently Alex has sold to Carri who was the Logistics Manager for 6 years prior.

Liesl Kleynhans joined Alex’s Catering in September 2005 as the Office Administrator. Her responsibilities are vast and endless. Previously Liesl was employed at Standard Bank but left to pursue a career in office administration and business accounting. In her spare time she likes to relax, read, spend quality time with her family and friends, especially her son Daniel.










Mogamat Rayned became part of the Alex’s Catering team in September 2006 as the general office assistant and driver. He is very dedicated, loyal person. Mo, (as we call him) loves spending time with his family – he has so many children that he has no spare time!!!
